Andie, like all truly great performers, has mastered the art of "giving them just enough to keep them wanting to come back for more" –– a great and very useful accomplishment
Love your blue secretary desk, Andie, but miss the Montgolfier Balloon chandelier. Hope yu still have it?
Good luck with your pond project. I've lost access to my gmail account, that's why you haven't heard from me. New 'puter. Not sure how to get all the old stuff back. All in good time –– I hope!
Trick or treating, barren branches claw On rooftops ‘gainst the biting Autumn air. Jack O’Lantern flickers. Would he gnaw An arm away, or set aflame the hair ––
Conspicuously real above the masks –– Kindling Kindergartners at the door? Only Satan’s own perform such tasks, Leering, lisping, limping as to war.
Awake! All Hallows Eve lets loose the ghosts. No one escapes the Grave for long. Be wise. The Jack O’Lanterns flicker on the posts –– Each one a sentry for the Lord of Flies.
Run home to mother lest the Evil One NABS you, while you THINK you’re having fun.
Today is the very special day in which we need to see aside our differences, suspend our questions, complaints and cynical disbelief, and do nothing but express gratitude for all the many blessings we DO have –– and they are astonishing once you start thinking about them and enumerating them.
Thanksgiving starts with thanks for mere survival, Just to have made it through another year With everyone still breathing. But we share So much beyond the outer roads we travel; Our interweavings on a deeper level, The modes of life that souls alone can share, he unguessed blessings of our being here, The warp and weft that no one can unravel.
So I give thanks for our deep coinherence Inwoven in the web of Gods own grace, Pulling us through the grave and gate of death. I thank Him for the truth behind appearance, I thank Him for his light in every face, I thank Him for you all, with every breath!

Going through the exercise of expressing our thanks to God for the Gift of Life and for the Beauty of the earth, for all the joys He has given us that make life bearable, and all the sorrows too from which we should learn to be aware of the needs and feelings of others. All of that energizes us, makes us feel stronger, healthier, more hopeful and more ambitious. Wallowing in spite, jealousy, pettiness and endless recriminations makes us ill and only produces great unhappiness.
Be thankful unto Him And bless His name, For the Lord is good Hi same is greatly to be praised, And His mercy endureth forever.
I hope you are enjoying the buildup to Christmas this year more than ever before? There is SO MUCH to be glad about, and to be grateful for, as things have turned out. We should all take time out to express gratitude and to wish each other the merriest Christmas ever.
I do hope we hear from you before the Great Day arrives. Your message needn't be spectacular, we'd just love to know you are well and that things are humming along as we believe they should for you, Handsome Husband and Gracie.
If not, and you are experiencing trouble, please let us know that too, so we may pray for you and send our fondest thoughts and greatest hopes for recovery your way.
In any event MERRY CHRISTMAS, Andie!
I hope you know we love you and want only the best for you always?

There’s nothing to tout.
There’s nothing to buy.
The stores have run out.
Your funds have run dry.
Hillaclaws is coming to town!
For her mill you are grist.
She thinks fun’s a crime,
She clenches her fist,
When you seek a good time.
Hillaclaws is coming to town!
She monitors your reaping.
She’ll ration what you take.
Whatever you try keeping
She will grab for her own sake!
So, you’d better not preen,
You’d better not prance.
It won’t please the Queen,
She will look askance.
Hillaclaws Upon You Will Frown.

She’s the dumpy broad
With the mile-wide butt.
SHE’S COMING TO TOWN!
