To Narnia

“all worlds draw to an end and that noble death is a treasure which no one is too poor to buy.”
 C.S. Lewis,
 The Chronicles of Narnia

Goodbye, Dearest Frannie.  I'll see you in Narnia, my beautiful, brave girl.  I shall miss you every second of every day until then. I will recognize you by your kind heart. My Bravest. My hero.

  10. Dear Andie. I am so sorry about Frannie. I know your heart is aching for her at the moment but remember the wonderful life she had with you. The memories of your time together are so important and help you deal with the gap they leave in your life.
Look after yourself and go and give your other kitties huge big hugs.

  12. I know that pain all too well, sigh. There is really only hope to go on with pain lessening one day soon, and kiss the animals that are still with you each day, that rely on your kindness, and love. Frannie is with God, and my kitties, and all the animals who've gone on to Heaven, too.

    XO

  14. I'm so very sorry my Friend that you have lost another that is so Dear to you!

I attended a Funeral just before New Year's Eve when I was informed that a long time Friend had passed from Time into Eternity on Christmas Eve... it made the Holidays tough for his Friends and Family. Then I got quite ill right after the New Year... tough start for 2012 but I'm Hopeful that we'll all receive a Turnaround and things will look up from here on out. Hugs and Prayers are with you as you Grieve your Loss... Dawn... The Bohemian

  17. Hi Andie,
I am letting you know that I am sorry and I forgot to let you know that I have been listing my Opera Theatre's in my peaceful etsy shop! perhaps you will still want to visit taking a look at what may inspire you :)

I would love to send off one to you sweet friend that you may purchase, but more if I have inspired you to create one of your own taking from what I have created then it too makes for a happy heart that you have found some passion in what I create that you would want to try your hand at it.

    See you soom my friend.
Let me know if you need some pointers, be prepared to be creative with paint and distressing it old, along with what brocante you can add to it.
    xoxo

  18. Andie - I'm so sorry that you've had another loss in about a year's time. I know you'll miss your little friend, cozily ensconced in the wardrobe. She's moved through the door into Narnia itself and home to the land of talking animals.

Katie and I are reading through the Chronicles right now - in the old original order. We've finally gotten to Horse and His Boy, one of my favorites.

All the best to you, and I'm so sorry.

    Cris

  21. I know this is very late...and I am sorry for it. I was offline from emails, Facebook, and other types of communications for a while due to my depression.

I was just telling my youngest son about Fannie and how it took you so long to get her to trust you and how patient you were. Also told him about her "Narnia Wardrobe" and all that you did for her. Paul will be sad to learn of this as he is such a great animal lover, especially of cats. I am so sorry for the pain you have experienced in losing your 4 legged family members...but as a Christian I believe there is a place where our pets are waiting for us to walk through Heaven's Gate with us. Thank you for sharing not only the beautiful items you fix for your home, but also for sharing your love and photos of your furry babies. Warmly, Mary Stone
