Please tell right away that you and your house filled with treasure have been spared, Andie. That photo of the collapsed house with that huge pile of fallen brick veneer is horrifying. Please tell us this did not happen to you.
That is amazingly kind. It is people like you who will give those affected renewed and much needed hope. I wish I were closer to help. Heartbreaking. Too much tragedy lately and we are so powerless to do anything but offer our help and donations. We each need to do our part whatever that may be...what a wonderful thing you are doing for Gracie, setting an example like that. Bravo to you!
Andie, you and Gracie have us in our prayers. That you have the strength to endure this sad devastation that has taken place so close to home for you.
Praying for the families that have to start over, pickup and move, find shelter, and make the best of what they have. We are so blessed when we see what others have to go through and we go home to our cozy sheltering homes.
Give us a follow up on your well being.
Thank you my dear sweet friend for the surprise that is on its way. I thought you wanted my address so I could have a personal invatation to a home visit, perhaps a tea party of sorts :) Or a tour of your home? I am more then excited to greet the post master with what is one its way from you.
My heart break for all the animals people get the warning and run below ground to basements etc however the animals are blown away like cattle sheep dogs cats horses that is so sad to me

ReplyDeleteWith the typhoon that hit the Philippines and now this. Such devastation and tragedies. Take care, and be safe!
ReplyDeleteJust look at the eyes of that dog and the eyes of that little girl. They are in shock, and their eyes have a look of hopelessness as well! No wonder!
ReplyDeletePS: Don't forget to pray for the folks in Indiana.
